15 - Parachute Release
Fanbook

For the Tangled Up Tour in 2008 Chimology.org made two fan books for both Cheryl and Kimberley. The fan books were advertised over at Girls Aloud Media and on the Girls Aloud Offical Site. Chim fans from all over contributed to the books. The Chim fanbooks included messages from the fans, graphics from the fans and the Fan Book Project. The fan book project was a section of the book that made out that Girls Aloud were no longer and ‘Chim‘ were a duet act. Competitions were held for the offical Chim logo,  song lyrics, Singles and Album covers. The book looked amazing and all the effort from fans who helped was fantastic.
The Tangled Up Tour came and the Chim fan books were ready to be given to the wonderful two. Chimology.org gave the books to two of the girls dancers at the backstage doors on the 10th of May in Bournemouth. About 10 minutes after Simon and Arthur, the girls dancers came back out with a letter/note from Kimberley, as shown here.

     
    Then three days later Chimology.org met both Cheryl and Kimberley in Brighton. Both of the girls said thank you for the fan books and that they loved them and when asked what they thought of ‘Chim‘ they said they also loved it. You can view pictures of the Tangled up fan book here.
    After the great sucess of the first offical Team fan book, we created a Chim fanbook for the Out of Control Tour. The book was given to the girls via Sarah Harding. You can view the pictures of the Out of Control fanbook here.
